Gremelmayr beat Scholtz 6-4, 7-5. The qualifier loses in straight sets.

Mannarino beat Schukin 7-6(4), 7-6(6). The sixth seed needs 2 close tie breakers to overcome Schukin.

Anderson beat Bohli 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. The fourth seed comes back from a set down to overcome Bohli.

Przysiezny beat Fischer 6-1, 6-2. The eighth seed drops just 3 games on the way to beating Fischer.

De Voest beat Galvani 6-3, 5-7, 7-6(6). The wild card needs 3 close sets to overcome the qualifier.

Devvarman beat Klaasen 6-4, 6-3. The qualifier is beaten in straight sets.

Brown beat Serra 6-4, 6-4. The fifth seed is beaten in straight sets by Brown.

Van Der Merwe beat Robert 6-3, 6-2. Van Der Merwe needs just 2 sets to beat Robert.

Greul beat Alves 6-2, 7-5. Greul eases past the lucky loser in straight sets.

Raonic beat Lu 6-3, 6-3. The second seed is shocked by Raonic in straight sets.

Wolmarans beat Sijsling 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Wolmarans comes back from a set down to overcome Sijsling.

Dancevic beat Lopez 6-7(5), 6-2, 7-6(8). Dancevic comes back from a set down to overcome the top seed, finishing the match with a tie breaker.

Van Der Merwe beat Brown 4-6, 7-5, 6-3. Van Der Merwe comes back from a set down to overcome Brown.

Greul beat Raonic 7-6(5), 6-4. Greul needs 2 sets and a tie breaker to beat Raonic.

Soeda beat Schuettler 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Soeda comes back from a set down to overcome the seventh seed.

De Voest beat Przysiezny 6-3, 6-4. The eighth seed is beaten in straight sets.
