US Open Men's results day 15

Djokovic beat Nadal 6-2, 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-1. The world number 1 wins his first US Open against the second seed. Personally I believe there is some controversy, when an obviously tired Djokovic takes an injury time out almost just after losing the 3rd set, which I think was for a rest, but that is in my opinion. Also not happy about the crowd making noise on Nadal's serve, which probably cost him his service game at 2-0 in the 2nd set. But in the end of the day Djokovic won and nothing can change that.

Djokovic, however, has won the last 5 meetings, all this year. On the other hand Nadal beat Djokovic at last year's US Open final.

Predictions Final

The world number 1 has played brilliantly this year as well as at this tournament. Last round he saved two match points on the way to overcoming Federer from 2 sets down. He has dropped 3 sets all tournament, 2 in the last round. Nadal has been in amazing form at this year's US Open, dropping just 1 set to Murray in the last round. His shots have been almost perfect and he looks like a man on a mission.

Conclusion - This is a hard match to decide, however, I think Nadal will win in 4 sets, winning the first 2 sets then losing the 3rd and winning the 4th to finish the match.

Djokovic beat Federer 6-7(7), 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 7-5. The top seed comes back from 2 sets down for the second time in his career to overcome the third seed. For the second year running Federer loses 2 match points on the way to losing in 5 sets, losing 4 games in a row at 5-3 up in the last set.

Nadal beat Murray 6-4, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. The 2nd seed needs 4 sets to overcome the 4th seed and advance to the finals.

US Open Women's results day 13

Williams beat Wozniacki 6-2, 6-4. The 28th seed eases past the top seed to advance to the final.

Stosur beat Kerber 6-3, 2-6, 6-2. The ninth seed needs 3 sets to overcome Kerber.

Federer won their last match, the first match Djokovic this year, at the French Open, but 3 other times this year Djokovic has prevailed, including once at the Australian Open.

Predictions match 1

The world number 1 has played brilliantly this year as well as at this tournament. Last round he held back tough competition against Tipsarevic and dropped his first set in a tie breaker. He will now face a tough match against the world number 3. Federer routed Tsonga in a potentially tough match and has only dropped one set all tournament against Cilic. He will try to get confidence from his last match against Djokovic, at the French Open. 
Conclusion - This is an incredibly hard match to predict but I just have a feeling that Federer can overcome Djokovic in 5 sets.

Predictions match 2

The 4th seed has been in quite good form this tournament. He has dropped 3 sets, the most of any semi-finalist, and has had the easiest draw, only facing 2 seeds, neither being highly ranked, however, Isner has been in form recently. Nadal has been in imperious form and is looking unbeatable at the moment, being the only player yet to drop a set. He destroyed Roddick with an incredible display of tennis. 
Conclusion - I can't see Nadal losing more than a set in this match. Murray is just not good enough and can't match up to Nadal's form.

Nadal beat Muller 7-6(1), 6-1, 6-2. The second seed overcomes Muller in the 1st set and then takes the next 2 sets with ease.

Murray beat Young 6-2, 6-3, 6-3. The 4th seed eases past Young in straight sets to advance to the Quarter Finals.

Roddick beat Ferrer -3, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. The 21st seed showed some of his best form to overcome the 5th seed in 4 sets.

Isner beat Simon 7-6(2), 3-6, 7-6(2), 7-6(4). The 28th seed needs 4 sets, including 3 tie breakers to overcome the 12th seed.

Djokovic beat Tipsarevic 7-6(2), 6-7(3), 6-0, 3-0 ret. The top seed drops his first set of the tournament against the 20th seed but eventually goes through when the 20th seed retires.

Federer beat Tsonga 6-4, 6-3, 6-3. The third seed eases past the 11th seed in straight sets.

S Williams beat Pavlychenkova 7-5, 6-1. The 28th seed eases past the 17th seed in straight sets. Can anyone stop her?

Stosur beat Zvonareva 6-3, 6-3. The 9th seed eases past the 2nd seed in straight sets.

Wozniacki beat Petkovic 6-1, 7-6(5). The top seed needs 2 sets, including a tie breaker, to beat the 10th seed.

Kerber beat Pennetta 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Kerber continues an amazing run into the semis with a straight sets win over the 26th seed.
