ATP and WTA Brisbane, WTA Auckland, ATP Chennai and ATP Doha

ATP Brisbane


Giraldo beat Simon 6-2, 6-3. Giraldo eases past the once high ranked Simon.

Berrer beat Sela 1-6, 7-6(3), 6-2. Berrer needs to come back from a set down to beat Sela, a tie breaker being key to his come back.

Kubot beat Brands 6-2, 6-2. Kubot drops just 4 games on the way to beating Brands.

Roddick beat Matosevic 6-3, 6-2. The second seed eases past Matosevic to advance to the next to the next round.

Dolgopolov beat Andreev 6-4, 6-2. The Ukrainian beats the Russian in straight sets.

Mayer beat Tomic 6-2, 6-2. The seventh seed drops just 4 games on the way to beating Tomic.

WTA Brisbane


Strycova beat Tatishvili 7-5, 6-2. The Czech beats the Georgian in two sets.

Peer beat Ferguson 6-4, 6-2. The second seed needs just 2 sets to beat Ferguson.

Dokic beat Pivovarova 6-4, 6-3. Dokic continues to the next round with a straight sets win over Pivovarova.

Petkovic beat Dulgheru 6-3, 6-0. Petkovic thrashes the eighth seed, relinquishing only 3 games and winning a bagel in the second set.

Pervak beat Chakvetadze 6-2, 6-2. In a russian show down Pervak beats Chakvetadze, dropping just 4 games.

Bartoli beat King 6-1, 6-2. The fourth seed eases past King, allowing only 3 games to be given to her opponent.

Kvitova beat Petrova 7-6(3), 6-3. Kvitova beats the third seed in the biggest upset of the day, needing a first set tie breaker to win.

Cibulkova beat Errani 6-3, 6-0. Errani only wins 3 games on the way to being beaten by Cibulkova.

Benesova bet Hercog 6-2, 7-5. Benesova needs a close second set to beat Hercog.

Stosur beat Hradecka 7-6(1), 6-1. The top seed looks a bit shaky in the first set, needing a tie breaker but then is in great form in the second.

WTA Auckland


Voracova beat Dominguez 4-6, 7-6(8), 6-0. Voracova overcame the Spaniard in a close three set match, where most action came in a close second set tie breaker.

Sharapova beat Brianti 6-2, 6-3. The top seed eases past Brianti.

Keothavong beat Gallovits 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-0. Keothavong comes back from a first set tie breaker loss to win the match in three.

Peng beat Larsson 6-1, 6-3. Peng eases past Larsson in straight sets, dropping just 4 games.

Kuznetsova beat Jones 6-4, 6-2. The third seed beats Jones in straight sets to advance to the next round.

Bondarenko beat Date-Krumm 6-4, 6-3. Bondarenko beats the in form player of the end of last year in straight sets.

ATP Chennai


Tipsarevic beat Schwank 6-3, 6-4. The sixth seed eases past Schwank in straight sets.

Nishikori beat Cilic 4-6, 7-6(0), 6-2. The second seed is shocked in a three set match by Nishikori, losing a second set tie breaker 7-0.

Phau beat Bolelli 6-2, 6-2. Phau beat Bolelli at the cost of 4 games.

Dodig beat Daniel 6-2, 6-2. Dodig beats Daniel is two sets, only losing 4 games.

Robert beat Haider-Maurer 6-4, 6-4. Robert needs just 2 sets to beat Haider-Maurer.

Kendrick beat Gremelmayr 7-6(1), 6-4. Kendrick needs two sets and a tie breaker to beat Gremelmayr.

ATP Doha


Bubka beat Gimeno-Traver 6-0, 6-3. Bubka shows good form in beating Gimeno-Traver, dropping just 3 games and winning a bagel in the first set.

Marchenko beat Zvererv 7-6(4), 6-4. Marchenko needs two sets and a tie breaker to beat Zverev.

Davydenko beat Fognini 6-1, 6-4. The fourth seed has no trouble beating Fognini in straight sets.

Garcia-Lopez beat Kukushkin 6-1, 7-6(1). The seventh seed needs a second set tie breaker to overcome Kukushkin in straight sets.

Tsonga beat Ramirez Hidalgo 6-2, 6-0. The third seed is in great form as he drops two games and wins a second set bagel, in winning against Ramirez Hidalgo.
