Australian Open Women's results day 3

Wozniacki beat King 6-1, 6-0. The World number 1 drops just 1 game on the way to beating King in straight sets.

Williams beat Zahlavova 6-7(6), 6-0, -4. The fourth seed comes back from a set down to beat Zahlavova.

Schiavone beat Marino 6-3, 5-7, 9-7. The sixth seed needs an epic third seed to overcome Marino.

Azarenka beat Hlavackova 6-4, 6-4. The 8th seed eases past the Czech in straight sets.

Li beat Rodina 6-3, 6-2. The ninth seed remains unbeaten this year with a easy 2 set victory over Rodina.

Henin beat Baltacha 6-1, 6-3. The 11th seed has no trouble beating the British player in 2 sets.

Sharapova beat Razzano 7-6(3), 6-3. The 14th seed needs 2 sets and a tie breaker to beat Razzano.

Manasieva beat Bartoli 3-6, 6-3, 6-0. The qualifier shocks the fifteenth seed in 3 sets, finishing the match with a bagel.

Goerges beat Kanepi 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. The 20th seed is shocked by Goerges in 3 sets.

Sevastova beat Wickmayer 6-4, 6-2. The 21st seed is shocked by Sevastova in straight sets.

Kuznetsova beat Rus 6-1, 6-4. The 23rd seed eases past the qualifier in straight sets.

Cibulkova beat Brinati 6-1, 4-6, 6-2. The 29th seed needs 3 sets to overcome Brianti.

Petkovic beat Keothavong 2-6, 7-5, 6-0. The 30th seed comes back from a set down to finish off the British qualifier with a 3rd set bagel.

Niculescu beat Pironkova 6-4, 6-1. The 32nd seed is beaten in straight sets.

Strycova beat Dokic 7-6(3), 6-1. The wild card is beaten in straight sets.

Scheepers beat Kulikova 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. Scheepers needs 3 sets to overcome Kulikova.
