Anderson beat Giraldo 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. Anderson needs 3 sets to overcome Giraldo and advance to the Semi-Finals.

Bartoli beat Strycova 6-2, 6-1. The fourth seed drops just 3 games on the way to advancing to the Semi-Finals.

Palvychenkova beat Safarova 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-3. The fifth seed needs 3 sets to beat Safarova.

Petkovic beat Groth 6-3, 6-4. Petkovic eases past Groth in straight sets.

Tsonga beat Garcia-Lopez 7-6(4), 7-6(9). The third seed needs two tie breakers, including a very close second set tie breaker, to beat the seventh seed and advance to the Semi-Finals.
