Stepanek beat Mayer 6-3, 6-3. Stepanek has no trouble knocking the seventh seed out of the tournament.

WTA Bribane


Petkovic beat Bartoli 6-4, 6-2. Petkovic continues a run into the Finals with a great straight sets win over the fourth seed.

Kvitova beat Palvychenkova 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. Kvitova needs 3 sets to reach the final, by beating the fourth seed.

WTA Auckland


Wickmayer beat Peng 3-6, 7-6(3), 7-5. The second seed needs to come back from a set down and win a second set tie breaker to beat Peng and advance to the Final.

Arn beat Georges 7-6(3), 6-3. The fourth seed is out in 2 sets, losing a first set tie breaker to Arn, who will be advancing to the Finals.

ATP Chennai


Berdych beat Kavcic 6-3, 6-3. The top seed needs just to sets to beat Kavcic.

Malisse beat Phau 6-0, 6-2. Phau only gets two games on the scoreboard, as he is beaten in straight sets by the seventh seed.

Tipsarevic beat Nishikori 6-4, 6-4. The sixth seed needs just two sets to beat Nishikori.

Wawrinka beat Haase 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. The third seed comes back from a set down to beat the eighth seed.

ATP Doha


Federer beat Tsonga 6-3, 7-6(2). The second seed books a place in the final by winning a second set tie breaker against the third seed.

Davydenko is beat Nadal 6-3, 6-2. The world number 1 is out as he is beaten in straight sets to the fourth seed. This is not as surprising as it sounds as Nadal has been flu-ridden all week. Davydenko will face Federer in the Final.
