Lu beat Marchenko 6-4, 7-6(7). After a long 2 set match Lu prevails against Marchenko, to face Ferrer in the next round.

Almagro beat Kubot 7-5, 6-2. No surprises in this match as Almagro beats Kubot.

Soderling beat Robredo 4-6, 6-1, 6-4. Soderling works hard to win the first 3 set match of today. He will go on to face Almagro in the next round.

Ljubicic beat Youzhny 6-3, 7-6(3). Youzhny is shocked at his defeat to the hands of Llubicic in stright sets.
