Andy Roddick was born on the 30th August 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska, America. He was world number 1 for some time from the 3rd November 2003 but never really stuck there and would have been a lot more successful if Federer hadn't come. He has won 1 Grand Slam, and has been Runner Up 4 times. His record in grand slams is 111-36:34-9 in the Australian Open, 9-9 in the French Open, 36-10 in Wimbledon and 36-10 in the US Open. Andy Roddick has the record for the fastest serve in the world of 155 MPH as well as the fastest serve at a Grand Slam, 152MPH. He also holds the record for the most games won in a final of a Grand Slam of 39 games in Wimbledon 2009. In 2007 he made the record of the most tie breakers won consecutively, of 18.
