The tournament starts today, let's see how my predictions go.

Stepanek beat Falla 2-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(5). Stepanek really works hard for the win, after taking the 2nd and 3rd set tie breakers.

Gimeno beat Schwank 6-4, 6-4. Gimeno advances to round 2 after winning in straight sets.

Tursunov beat Gulbis 6-3, 6-4. Big shock as the seventh seed crashes out in straight sets.

Lopez beat Del Potro 6-3, 6-0. Del Potro continues a terrible run after his come back as he is destroyed by 6th seed Lopez.

ATP Beijing 


Another tournament which is worth 500 points to the winner.

Simon beat Querrey 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. Simon beats Querrey in a 3 set match.

Berrer beat Berdych 4-6, 7-5, 6-4. Big shock for Berdych, as he is beaten after being a set up. This could be important for the ATP World tour Finals. Berrer will now play Simon.

Isner beat Yang 7-6(5), 6-3. Isner defeats Yang in straight sets.

Kohlschreiber beat Verdasco 6-2, 7-5. Verdasco's chance of making the world tour finals took a serious blow, as he is beaten in the 1st round. His victor will play Isner.

Fish beat Tipsarevic 6-2, 7-6(5). Fish defeats Tipsarevic in straight sets, advancing to the second round.

WTA Beijing


Kirilenko beat Dulko 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. Kirilenko beats Dulko in 3 sets.

Petrova beat Bondarenko 6-3, 7-5. A straigh sets win for Petrova.

Jovanoski beat Jankovic 4-6, 6-2, 6-2. After a first set, it looked like Jankovic was on her way to victory but a hard fought win from Jovanoski to beat her compatriot and beat a top ten player for the first time in her career.

Ivanovic beat Bartoli 6-2, 6-3. ivanovic rips Bartoli into shreds in the first round to advance to round 2.

Errani beat Peng 1-6, 6-4, 6-1. It started well for Peng, after taking the first set, but she fell apart in the next two sets and lost the match.

Zvonerova beat Safina 6-4, 7-6(6). The former world number 1 loses in the first round to forth seed at Beijing.

Peer beat Sun 6-1, 6-2. Peer thrashes Sun, dropping 2 games.

Kerber beat Radwanska 5-7, 7-6, 7-5. Sixth seed Radwanska is shocked by Kerber in the first round, in an epic 3 set match.

Dushevina beat Makarova 6-4, 6-4. Dushevina beats Makarova in straight sets.

Dulgheru beat Zahlavova Strycova 6-4, 6-4. The last match of the day ends quickly in straight sets.
