Becker beat Brands 6-4, 6-2. Becker continues a great run into the Semi-Finals, after beating Brands in straight sets in convincing fashion.

Nieminen beat Melzer 6-3, 7-6(4). Nieminen beat 3rd seed Melzer in straight sets, to set up a Semi-Finals match with Becker.

Nadal beat Kukushkin 6-2, 6-3. World number 1, Nadal, advances to the Semi-Finals, after crushing Kukushkin in straight sets.

Garcia-Lopez beat Gulbis 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-3. The forth seed is beaten after a three set match, leaving Garcia-Lopez to advance to the Semi-Finals to face compatriot Nadal.

ATP Kuala Lumpar


Andreev beat Raonic 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. Andreev battles past Raonic in three sets, to continue a great run at Malysia, into the Semi-Finals.

Youzhny beat Baghdatis 6-7(5), 7-5, 6-1. The world number 9 has to work hard to overcome the cypriot, and will play Andreev in the Semi-Finals.

Ferrer beat Berdych 4-6, 7-5, 6-4. Ferrer comes back from a set down to beat world number 7, Bedych and advance to the Semi-Finals.

Golubev beat Soderling 6-3, 6-2. The biggest shock of the day, as the top seed at Malaysia goes crashing out in straight sets to Golubev, who will face Berdych in the Semi-Finals.

WTA Tokyo

Wozniacki beat Azarenka 6-2, 6-7, 6-4. Wozniacki advances into the Finals, after battling past Azarenka.

Dementiava beat Schiavone 6-4, 7-5. Dementiava joins Wozniacki in the finals, after easing past Schiavone in straight sets.
