ATP Tokyo, ATP Beijing and WTA Beijing

ATP Beijing

Isner beat Kohlschreiber 7-6(3), 3-6, 6-3. Isner narrowly beats Kohlschreiber in 3 sets.

Simon beat Berrer 6-7(6), 6-4, 7-6(4). Simon goes through two tie breakers to prevail against Berrer.

Davydenko beat Cilic 7-5, 7-5. A match of big expectations finishes quickly with Davydenko winning his 400th match. He is only the eighth un retired player to do this. He will play Isner in the next round.

Djokovic beat Fish ret. Fish never turns up due to an ankle injury, leaving Djokovic to enter the Quarter Finals, where he will face Simon.

ATP Tokyo

Tursunov beat Gasquet 7-6(2), 1-6, 6-4. Tursunov fights past Gasquet in 3 sets to reach the Quarter Finals.

Nieminen beat Gimeno 6-3, 7-6(8). Nieminen pulls through Gimeno, after a very long 2nd set tie breaker. 

Stepanek beat Chiudinelli 5-7, 7-6(7), 4-1 ret. Stepanek pulls through, after Chiudinelli retires. Stepanek will face a challenge from Nieminen in the next round.

Garcia-Lopez beat Lopez 7-6(5), 6-4. Garcia-Lopez continues his winning streak with a win against Lopez.

WTA Beijing

 Wozniacki beat Errani 6-4, 6-2. Wozniacki is now one win away from becoming the 20th world number 1 ever. She will play Kvitova for the world number 1 spot.

Kerber beat Dulgheru 6-2, 6-1. Kerber destroys Dulgheru, dropping 3 games. Kerber will face Li in the next round.

Peer beat Jovanovski 6-1, 6-2. Peer eases into the Quarter Finals in straight sets, continuing a great run.

Bacsinszky beat Vesnina 6-2, 6-3. Bacsinszky will face Peer in the next round.

Schiavone beat Dushevina 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. Schiavone fights to advance to the next round.

Zvonareva beat Kirilenko 5-7, 6-4, 6-2. Kirilenko makes things hard for Zvonareva, who will face Schiavone in the next round.
